With over 900 businesses, arts & crafts play a key role in the economy of the Centre-Loire valley region and demonstrate a diverse wealth of expertise. 36% of arts & crafts concern wood, 19% jewellery and 10% graphic arts.

Over 70 secondary education courses from the CAP (equivalent to GCSEs) to the BAC (equivalent A levels), and 60 continuing education courses are available in this sector in the Centre-Loire valley region. Regional professionals can also gain support from 4 arts & crafts clusters:
