On the occasion of the meeting of CENTRECO’s Board of Directors and the General Assembly held in Orleans on 8 April this year, Fabien Verdier was elected President of the agency for the economic development and promotion of the Centre-Loire Valley Region.

On Tuesday 16 June, cooperation between the Centre-Loire Valley and Pays de Loire Regions in the aeronautics sector led to an official inauguration at the Le Bourget Trade Fair, attended by local government officials, company representatives and regional economic actors. Azurmed, a company located in Bouches-du-Rhône, is set to take over part of the Fenwal factory in Lacs (Indre) to develop a plastic injection moulding activity intended for medical appliances. 150 jobs should be created there by 2019.
